It is made out of Northern California Redwood in our little father and daughter wood shop and can be used for anything you'd like: coins, jewelry, mementos, or memories.
Exterior Dimensions with lid on is approximately 3.5" at longest point x 3.25" at widest point and about 3" thick. Inner Area Dimensions are approximately 2.675" at longest point x 2.675" at widest point by about 2.25" deep. The lid sits into the box so the usable storage portion is approximately 2" deep.
